Hydra-Sports began manufacturing fiberglass fishing boats just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, in 1973. Since then, we’ve grown to become one of the best-known names in the business. In 1998, we began concentrating exclusively on our specialty - bluewater fishing boats. These boats are the product of years of research and in-house development. For those not yet familiar with our reputation, every Hydra-Sports has been designed and engineered upon a basic philosophy of "No Compromise™." It's a simple, yet very straight-forward approach that is adopted, trusted and approved by both tournament champions and passionate everyday fisherman alike. Thanks to input from professional guides, tournament anglers and experienced boat owners, our engineering team incorporates the latest thinking into every boat we design.

In 2001, Hydra-Sports was acquired by Genmar, the largest maker of boats in the world. Thanks to Genmar’s commitment to technology, Hydra-Sports boats will remain on the front lines of innovation in the boating industry.
