CAN I STILL GET PARTS FOR MY OLDER MODEL HYDRA-SPORTS BOAT?

Depending upon the year, boat model and if that model is still in production, parts may still be available. Unfortunately, most of the discontinued models before 2010 no longer carry parts availability; however, some parts are common to several models so the specific part you are looking for may still be available. The best way to determine parts availability is to contact your local Hydra-Sports dealer and they will be able to assist you in finding the part.

I JUST PURCHASED A USED HYDRA-SPORTS, IS THERE A WARRANTY TRANSFER PROGRAM FOR A SECOND OWNER?

Starting with the 2011 model year, there can be a transfer of ownership one time. In the Owner’s Manual there is a section and form dedicated to the warranty transfer process. Follow the instructions within this section, fill out the warranty transfer form and send it to Hydra-Sports corporate offices as indicated in the instructions.

I HAVE MOVED AND NEED TO CHANGE THE MAILING ADDRESS ON MY WARRANTY REGISTRATION, WHOM DO I CONTACT?

You may contact your selling dealer and they can assist you with this change, or you may contact Hydra-Sports directly at 423-884-2221 and speak with a Product Support Representative.

WHAT IS THE SHAFT LENGTH OF THE ENGINE IN MY BOAT?

There are several factors in determining shaft length. For example dependent upon your boat model and whether you have a single engine, twin engine or triple engine set up is a large factor in the shaft length engine needed for you boat. A triple engine configuration may use a 30” shaft for the center engine while the port and starboard engine may be 25” shaft length. It is best to consult your local Hydra-Sports dealer for recommendations when determining what length shaft engine should be used.

I JUST PURCHASED A USED HYDRA-SPORTS BOAT AND I AM UNSURE HOW TO DETERMINE WHAT MODEL YEAR THE BOAT IS?

Located on the transom of the boat is a Hull Identification Number (HIN), or boat serial number in other words. The HIN number will consist of boat letters and numbers, however the last two digits will indicate the year model in which the boat was manufactured.

I WANT TO RE-POWER MY HYDRA WITH 4 STROKE ENGINE(S), WILL THE BOAT HANDLE THE ADDITIONAL WEIGHT?

Unfortunately on models prior to 2001, we have no test data for boats to handle the additional weight of  4 stroke engine(s). Therefore we cannot recommend their usage due to the additional weight. We would however recommend that you consult your local Hydra-Sports dealer as they may be able to assist you in your repower choice. For models 2001 and newer the boats were designed to handle the additional weight of 4 stroke engines.
