HYDRA-SPORTS® ROUNDS OUT VECTOR® SERIES WITH NEW 2900CC
8/25/05
SARASOTA, Fla., August 25, 2005—The new 2900CC from Hydra-Sports is a tournament-ready, Kevlar®-reinforced fishing machine with the power and fuel capacity to help fishermen reach the best fishing grounds quickly, safely and comfortably.
“The 2900CC is the perfect fit to round out our Vector series,” said Dean Samuelson, president of Hydra-Sports. “It packs big-water performance and the most popular features of the series in a versatile, easy-to-trailer package.”
The 2900CC has a 29’ 8” LOA, 9’ 8” beam, 8,000 lb. dry weight and 22” hull draft. The 23-degree-deadrise design handles choppy seas with ease and the 300-gallon fuel capacity provides excellent range.
Like the rest of the Vector series, this model boasts double clamp hoses, submersible-rated electrical connectors and premium materials throughout. Designed for the serious offshore fisherman, there are three large fish boxes, rod holders and lockers and a powerful Kodiak 55-gallon baitwell, all positioned within easy reach. Cockpit bolsters, toe rails, an outrigger-ready t-top, tackle center and a transom door—all standard—make it clear that this boat was made for serious fishing.
Other popular options include four color choices (Fighting Lady Yellow, Midnight Blue, Predator Green and Platinum Gray), a canvas enclosure, a premium electronics package and seven engine choices up to 600 hp, including twin outboards by Yamaha®, Evinrude® or Mercury®.
As with any boat manufacturer that is committed to ongoing product improvements, specifications, options and equipment are subject to change without notice.
